Rodrigo Red Sandoval (Mexico City). His exploration begins with phenomenological approaches related to how humankind makes cognitive processes and creates knowledge, non-verbal languages, and ideologies that fuse with social and subjective fabrications. Red’s work embodies objects observed in the perceptible world and how they shift, mutate or change position, taking into account their immersive character in space and their eye-catching/ aesthetic qualities, such as the intensity of their shape, texture, colour and dynamic forms. Through sculpture, installation and photography, Rodrigo’s work seeks to blur dimensions and topologies: He attempts to reach and mix different spheres of experience in the form of assemblages, creating a space for imagination and possibility while using speculation and exploring poetic forms. Taking the relationship between image and idea as a standpoint, He delves into shared meanings and bridges created between the abstract and the concrete, analyzing how they intertwine. However, rather than just thinking of established dichotomies, his work tries to suspend and create ruptures in order to move between ideology and experience, the subjective and the objective, the constructed and the real.

Rodrigo Red Sandoval (Ciudad de México). Su exploración comienza con enfoques fenomenológicos relacionados con la forma en que la humanidad realiza procesos cognitivos y crea conocimiento, lenguajes no verbales e ideologías que se fusionan con fabricaciones sociales y subjetivas. La obra de Red plasma los objetos observados en el mundo perceptible y cómo se desplazan, mutan o cambian de posición, teniendo en cuenta su carácter inmersivo en el espacio y sus cualidades estéticas y de atracción, como la intensidad de su forma, textura, color y formas dinámicas. A través de la escultura, la instalación y la fotografía, la obra de Rodrigo busca desdibujar dimensiones y tipologías: intenta alcanzar y mezclar diferentes esferas de la experiencia en forma de ensamblajes, creando un espacio para la imaginación y la posibilidad, al tiempo que utiliza la especulación y explora las formas poéticas. Teniendo en cuenta la relación entre la imagen y la idea, profundiza en los significados compartidos y los puentes creados entre lo abstracto y lo concreto, analizando su entrelazamiento. Sin embargo, más que pensar en establecer dicotomías, su trabajo trata de suspender y crear rupturas para moverse entre la ideología y la experiencia, lo subjetivo y lo objetivo, lo construido y lo real.
